A bit old, but still one that I like. I don't do fanart very often.
These are my wife's characters from the first two Dragon Age games.

Empty Sands 31
Hitting the downhill on my BFA project! It's going to be done around February and I will be doing a very limited printing run of the comic. If anyone is interested in buying it, let me know. There will be more information on that in the future.
While working on the story, I realized that it needed some serious reworking on the story, and the way that the end of the story changed made it so that my original opening wouldn't work. I really liked the tone and mood of the scene though, and managed to work back in one page of that scene (more or less) into the final version of the story. It was hard to abandon the first three pages, but in the end it was vital.

Empty Sands 24- Inks
Just a quick update with the finished inks from the penciled page I put up a little while ago.
It was nice to be drawing things that are continuing the story, rather than redrawing things at the beginning like I had been for months.

Empty Sands 24, pencils
Hey peeps! I haven't done anything on my blog all summer, so here's something. Page 24 of my BFA project penciled. Still have 14 more to pencil, 15 to ink, and almost 30 to color. Otherwise, I've been working on some projects that I can't really discuss and have yet to be released. When they are, I'll be making some posts!
Happy summer!

Empty Sands Cover
I finally got my cover/title page for my BFA project. The story is called Empty Sands. It takes place sometime in the future, long after our society has collapsed and a new one has taken its place. The story follows a girl and her father as they travel through the ruins of a city and what happens to them there.
I don't have a date for the show yet, but next semester is my last and I will be finishing this up and have it ready to be printed and sold.
Without the type, too

War Never Changes
This was a fun and challenging assignment in my advanced figure drawing class. No soft edges, no lines, ad no gradients, although there are a few more now than when I turned it in.

Lady Hawk
Just another from Narrative Illustration. The prompt was 'fan art' which was something along the lines of a reimagining of a franchise property. I did a redesign/new take on the 80's movie Lady Hawk. The idea here is that rather than Isabeau being just ridiculously beautiful and everyone loving her, that she has a personality more like the hawk she turns into.
